Fairford Festival June 8th-9th

Churches Together Around Fairford will have a Quiet Space tent at the Fairford Festival, offering people a chance to browse a bookstall, to pray or just to sit quietly by themselves. The tent will be open on the Saturday and Sunday afternoons from 2:00-5:0, with people on hand to welcome those who come

This is a new venture, something we feel the churches can offer to festival-goers that will be of value to them. Please give it your support.

The Brilliant Classical Guitar of Alan Brinley Shaw

Saturday June 15th at 7pm
St Mary`s Church

Mr Shaw will give classical guitar recital, playing works by Albeniz, Villa Lobos and Piazzolla.

Tickets are £12 on the door (under 16s £5). Doors open at 18.30pm

At Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF), we believe nothing should stop people from receiving the love of God and the essentials of life – no matter how remote they are. Our vision is to see 'isolated people physically and spiritually transformed in Christ's name.' We believe that everyone deserves a chance to experience the love of Jesus Christ. We use aviation and technology, because in many places those are the only ways to reach isolated people with Christ’s love.

For over 70 years, MAF has been flying light aircraft over jungles, mountains, swamps and deserts. We enable over 2,000 aid, development and mission organisations to bring medical care, emergency relief, long-term development and Christian hope to thousands of communities.

Messy Church

We meet on the second Sunday
of every month EXCEPT AUGUST.

This month Messy Church is supporting the Fairford Festival. On Saturday 8 June we will join the procession at noon dressed in 'space' symbols - sun, moon, stars (pin them to black clothes if you wish).

On Sunday 9 June we will run a couple of activities in the Children's Tent and will have information about further Messy Church sessions. Please bring your friends and come and find us. It's a good opportunity to introduce Messy Church to those that haven't yet tried it.

We are supporting those affected by Pancreatic cancer, investing in ground breaking research, lobbying for greater recognition of pancreatic cancer, and being a voice for everyone involved in the fight. Together we are taking on pancreatic cancer. pancreaticcancer.org.uk.
